The Machine Mission

Machine is a digital meta-tabloid covering tech, science and ideas. We are non-partisan and apolitical. Built in the tradition of the British tabloids, Machine stands on the side of ordinary people, champions innovators and celebrates changemakers.

Our mission is to develop a new model for journalism that shares a portion of profits with readers. We don't like paywalls. Our content will be open and available to anyone, forever, providing a refuge from the noise of the bot-filled internet.

Machine also functions as a PR and content agency specialising in securing media placements in tier-one or specialist press, as well as producing copy that tells better stories and sells our clients to the world.

Machine founder Jasper Hamill is a journalist with 20 years of experience. He served as tech and science editor at two major UK publications, where his articles reached more than 75 million readers.
